More on GDrive sitings

Google Operating System has more about the reported finding, including the possibility of more features:

“* Publish. All of the files you store on Platypus are automatically accessible from the (corporate) web.
* Share. Other Googlers can mount your Platypus folders and open your files in read-only mode.
* Local IO speeds. Open and save as quickly as you could if you were accessing them from your C: drive.”

Are these the first glimpses of the GDrive

Pulled much too early, it appears that the first glimpses of the Gdrive have been found online by bloggers searching for the machinations of their favorite discovery target, Google. Geekness describes the finding (Note: since his post has been Dugg, you may have issues accessing the site).

For the last week, it appears that Google and the PR people have done a good job in squelching the rumors/soft facts about their online storage offering.
